Role: Azure Cloud/DevOps Architect
Location: West Oslo
Experience Required: 10-12 years in Microsoft Azure
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and review Azure infrastructure, including Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)
* Provide solutions for microservices using Docker/Kubernetes or cloud-based platforms
* Guide teams with standards and recommendations, while identifying and managing project risks
* Collaborate with presales teams to assess technical solutions
* Design and provision Azure infrastructure, and migrate on-premises systems to Azure
* Implement automation using ARM, Terraform, Azure CLI, and PowerShell
* Develop and manage Azure DevOps strategies, automating infrastructure provisioning
* Ensure security and compliance in Azure DevOps environments
* Lead and manage teams, especially in offshore settings
* Communicate effectively across departments and external parties
* Apply best practices for provisioning, operations, and cloud management
Primary Skills:
* Experience with microservices architecture using Dockers, Azure Containers, and AKS
* Expertise in migrating workloads (VMs, apps, databases) to Azure
* Proficiency in tools like Fiddler, Wireshark, and setting up Azure backup strategies
* Strong knowledge in configuring VNets, Azure AD Sync, network security, and disaster recovery
Secondary Skills:
* Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD strategies, setting up self-hosted agents)
* Strong knowledge of Azure services: Web Apps, API Apps, Redis Cache, Azure Key Vault, Service Bus, etc.
* Knowledge of Azure Data Services, including Hadoop, MongoDB, and Azure Data Factory
Good to Have:
* Familiarity with LDAP, ADFS, Graph API, and other DevOps platforms (Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible)
* Experience with SQL, Oracle, and other RDBMS systems
