    We are looking for a senior machine learning engineer to join the team in Helsinki!

    We are a team of 50+ based in Helsinki who have created a SaaS platform to help businesses have more success with their product launches based on data & insights

    You will be based in-house working with our team and part of the wider data & engineering environment, reporting into the Lead Data Scientist

    We hope that you can:

    * Bring strong expertise and know-how in Data Science and Machine Learning (ML) Engineering.
    * Be the primary go-to person for data Analysis and ML topics.
    * Reinforce the company's technical project management capabilities by effectively coordinating project development across the Data Science stack.
    * Contribute fresh ideas to the team for building and maintaining ML models at scale.

    Your task:

    * After 2-3 weeks, you will add value as an Individual Contributor on data analysis, model development and machine learning productization.
    * After 4 months, you will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the company's business domain and application-specific features.
    * After 6 months, you will effectively drive a project and be in charge of communication with the Product team.

    What are we looking for in you?

    * We hope that you can bring a strong academic background along with 5+ years of experience in building ML models
    * We would like you to have worked with multiple data sources and operating ML models at scale
    * It is beneficial if you have worked with sales predictions using different types of data or marketing mix modelling
    * We also valuable personal skills and hope you will be a great team player with excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical colleagues

    Technologies you are expected to master: Python, SQL, AWS

    Network Design & Implementation:

    Technical Skills:

    * Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, IPv4/IPv6.
    * Experience with Cisco/Juniper hardware, firewalls, VPNs, and Linux.
    * Excellent troubleshooting abilities.

    Job description

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    * Provides technology leadership for the development of complex end-to-end wireless technology solutions involving devices, access, distribution and core networks (LAN and WAN segments), firewalls, AAA and backend systems.
    * Collaborate closely cross-teams with product owners, project managers, engineers, and internal business partners to understand requirements and objectives related to (wireless) network architecture.
    * Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing IT/OT network infrastructure as input for the network design and planning process.
    * Assesses new network requirements technically and operationally and develop end-to-end solutions and detailed architecture designs to support them, considering factors such as IT/OT system integration, performance optimization, and cyber security and ensuring adherence to design standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
    * Create project-specific network diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans outlining proposed architectures, configurations and conduct testing and validation of network implementations.
    * Works with service and operations teams to resolve wireless network issues that could impact The client production sites and plants.
    * Stays up-to-date with emerging network technologies, tests and validates new solutions and drives new innovative approaches.



    QUALIFICATIONS

    * Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Telecommunications or equivalent
    * 10+ years of experience in wireless network architecture design, implementation within project environments, and deployment support, ideally with a focus on IT and OT integration
    * Extensive hands-on experience with a broad range of wireless technologies including WiFi, 4G-LTE, 5G and IoT as well as strong knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls and security
    * You have experience working at the interface between IT and OT, ideally with vendors such as Cisco, PaloAlto, CheckPoint, and global integrators.
    * Excellent communication skills in English

    * Expertise in project management methodologies and tools, with demonstrated experience in coordinating complex network projects from inception to completion.
