    About the Role

    As the Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in optimizing team performance and delivery. You'll ensure that the engineering team operates efficiently, meeting product and technical objectives swiftly and effectively. Working closely with the CTO and CPO, your focus will be on team organization, delivery management, and performance optimization-allowing the CTO to concentrate on technical leadership and strategy.



    What You'll Do

    Drive engineering execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, at a high quality, and without unnecessary roadblocks.
    *

    Establish clear performance expectations, foster accountability, and create a structure where engineers can excel.
    *

    Cultivate a culture of ownership and precision, ensuring the team operates at its highest potential.
    *

    Optimize delivery processes, improving efficiency without adding bureaucratic friction.
    *

    Play a key role in scaling the engineering team, hiring top-tier talent as the company expands.
    *

    Have direct and honest conversations that shape the technical strategy and team performance.



    Within Three Months, You Will Have...

    *

    Built trust and credibility with the engineering team through effective 1:1s and hands-on leadership.
    *

    Developed a strong understanding of the company's product, business, and technical challenges.
    *

    Provided constructive development feedback, implementing a lean but effective performance structure.

    Helped to recruit and onboard at least one new software engineer.
    *

    Contributed to key decisions that positively shape the team's operational and strategic direction.



    About You

    *

    5+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role, ideally within a fast-moving startup environment.
    *

    Proven ability to steer small, high-performing teams (8-12 engineers) through rapid growth and change.
    *

    A strong track record of delivering complex projects efficiently, balancing execution with adaptability.
    *

    Skilled at setting performance benchmarks and holding teams accountable.
    *

    Comfortable with agile methodologies but able to create clarity and structure without rigid processes.
    *

    Sharp judgment, strong communication skills, and a pragmatic approach to leadership.
    *

    About the Role

    As an Oracle DevOps Engineer, you'll be part of a collaborative team focused on building, supporting, migrating, and automating Oracle environments on Exadata Cloud at Customer (ExaCC). You'll play a key role in engineering solutions to ensure platform compliance with regulatory requirements and oversee Oracle Database migrations to ExaCC.

    A significant part of your responsibilities will include developing infrastructure as code to support CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and Python. Your day-to-day activities will range from engineering database migrations and coding automation scripts to devising innovative solutions for client-specific needs.

    Additionally, you will be involved in configuring monitoring systems, implementing Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA), and providing support during and after migration cutovers. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and the Product Owner is central to this role.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Engineer and build solutions on the ExaCC platform aligned with regulatory requirements.
    * Migrate Oracle databases to ExaCC and optimize processes.
    * Develop infrastructure as code for CI/CD pipelines.
    * Configure monitoring and MAA for ExaCC environments.
    * Collaborate with the Product Owner and other teams to deliver tailored solutions.
    * Provide ongoing support post-migration to ensure optimal performance.

    Your Profile

    Technical Skills:

    * Extensive experience as an Oracle Database Administrator with expertise in Exadata/ExaCC.
    * Strong understanding of Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Enterprise Linux, and virtualization.

    * Experience with tools and methodologies such as DevOps, Scrum, and Agile.
