Platform Engineer - Golang / AWS

Key Responsibilities:

*

Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and services using Golang.
*

Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and other IaC tools.
*

Implement best practices for cloud architecture, including cost optimization, high availability, and disaster recovery.
*

Automate and optimize infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and scaling processes.
*

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions seamlessly with application development and operations.
*

Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring high reliability and uptime.
*

Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and advocate for their adoption where beneficial.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience in Golang development, particularly for cloud-based applications.
*

Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and IAM.
*

Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
*

Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and best practices.
*

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
*

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
*

Knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and monitoring tools.
*

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
*

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a distributed team.

Nice-to-Have:

*

AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer).
*

Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP.
*

Familiarity with serverless computing and frameworks.
*

Contributions to open-source projects in the cloud or IaC space.
