Jefferson Frank International is collaborating with rapidly expanding tech scale-up who's seeking a Sydney-based DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team and drive the development of their AWS cloud infrastructure.

About the Role: They are looking for a DevOps Engineer to take the lead in building and managing a robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Managing, Scaling, and Automating AWS Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee and optimise cloud environments for automation, scalability, and reliability, ensuring efficient cloud operations. Lead the design and implementation of new services and upgrades, selecting the best technologies to enhance performance.
* Optimising CI/CD and Infrastructure: Streamline CI/CD pipelines to improve development cycles and quality, while documenting infrastructure changes and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
* Collaboration and Problem Solving: Partner with development teams to implement cloud solutions that address complex challenges, supporting the platform's evolving needs.
* Security, Compliance, and Monitoring: Manage security controls to ensure compliance with industry standards, conduct regular audits, and proactively address vulnerabilities. Implement robust monitoring systems to track performance and swiftly resolve any issues.

About You:

* 4+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud, and infrastructure management
* Strong background in AWS services (ECS, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation) and enterprise-level infrastructure
* Hands-on experience with AWS networking (VPC, Load Balancers, Peering Links)
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
* Familiarity with multiple tech stacks, including Azure and infrastructure coding

Preferred Skills:

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Container Platform Architect/Engineer to lead our cloud migration project to Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS). This role is pivotal in leveraging your expertise to guide the technical aspects of the migration while serving as a Subject Matter Expert to provide support and guidance for the project team.



Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the cloud migration efforts to Amazon EKS, ensuring a smooth transition and adherence to best practices throughout the migration lifecycle.
* Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on EKS and containerization technologies, providing insights and answering technical questions for the team.
* Implement and manage Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products, specifically designed for integration with EKS.
* Develop and maintain container management solutions using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
* Troubleshoot and debug applications deployed in containerized environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
* Design and implement DevOps practices, including defining and managing CI/CD pipelines.
* Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
* Write and maintain scripts in languages such as Python and Bash to automate processes and enhance operational efficiency.
