Lead Java Developer/Architect

Company Overview: A global IT services provider is seeking a dynamic Java Software Architect to join their innovative team in Denmark. The company excels in enhancing IT performance and customer experiences for both private and public sector organisations.

Project Description: This role involves working on a high-impact project for a public company, developing and maintaining critical systems for various governmental departments. The architect will transform business requirements into cutting-edge system designs within large-scale IT solutions and integration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Analyse and document business requirements and processes for critical public systems.
* Design, present, gain approval for, and document solution principles that support business objectives.
* Assess and document existing architecture and integration solutions to ensure security, reliability, scalability, and performance.
* Propose new architectures and principles when necessary, ensuring broad approval and documentation.
* Act as the primary architecture authority for applications, verifying and approving design decisions.
* Participate in planning, estimation, and risk assessment for new solutions.
* Contribute to the development of IT visions and strategies in collaboration with other architects and management.
* Identify and address design challenges in system and solution architecture, implementing best practices.
* Stay updated on technological advancements to continuously improve solutions.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in similar roles.
* Experience with Public Sector Systems.
* Extensive Java development and architecture experience.
* Knowledge of microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-based applications.
* Familiarity with database technologies and DevOps tools.
* Strong communication skills in Danish and English.

* Problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Knowledge of data protection laws and security compliance.

Additional Notes:

* Ability to work with legacy software.
