Sr. Node.Js Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to enhance our backend systems using Node.js, ensuring robustness and security. Responsibilities include deploying applications on AWS, managing resources like Amazon Lambda and DynamoDB, and creating APIs to meet various business needs. The role involves data management, legacy code modernization, and overseeing projects from start to finish while collaborating with teams.



Candidates should be proficient in Node.js and familiar with AWS services, PostgreSQL, and API development. Experience in startup environments and flexible work hours is preferred, alongside practical experience in AI projects and knowledge of the travel or hospitality industry being advantageous. Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and modernize backend systems using Node.js.
* Deploy applications to AWS and manage AWS resources, specifically Amazon Lambda and DynamoDB.
* Create and maintain APIs to support various business needs.
* Engage in data storage, modeling, retrieval, and ETL processes.
* Update and modernize legacy codebases.



Qualifications

* Proficiency in Node.js.
* Familiarity with AWS services including Amazon Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon API Gateway.
* Experience with PostgreSQL and API development.
* Strong quality architecture skills, capable of overseeing projects from inception to completion.
* Previous experience in startup environments preferred, as this role may demand working beyond standard hours.
* Practical involvement in AI-related projects, research, or applications is preferred.
* Experience in the travel or hospitality industry is a major plus.
