Tech Lead - Vue.js

Role: Frontend Tech Lead (Vue.js)

Location: Oslo

As the Tech Lead for digital media platforms, you'll be at the heart of operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers and data experts to build a seamless experience together!

In this role, you will:

* Lead a team of developers, collaborating with experts in areas like digital marketing and subscriptions.
* Partner with product and design teams to deliver exceptional products and services, acting as the bridge between key stakeholders and the technical team.
* Report to the Head of Engineering, contributing to the development and execution of technical strategies and visions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

* Providing technical guidance to your team, with a hands-on approach to improving functionality and operations.
* Maintaining coding standards, conducting code reviews, and implementing quality assurance processes to ensure consistency.
* Embracing modern development practices and agile processes for effective collaboration between product and development teams.
* Optimising front-end performance, reducing load times, minimising bundle sizes, and implementing techniques like lazy loading.
* Design scalable, maintainable front-end applications by organising components, structuring folders, and strategies & API integrations.

We're looking for someone who can:

* Demonstrate proficiency in Vue.js, JavaScript, CSS, and front-end micro service architecture.
* Analyse complex problems and propose effective, scalable solutions.
* Lead a team of front-end developers with strong mentorship skills.
* Communicate effectively with designers, back-end developers, analysts, and other stakeholders.
* Work fluently in English.
