We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of our e-commerce platform as part of an experienced in-house team. Your tasks include the technical design, development, and continuous improvement of our e-commerce platform using modern web technologies, particularly PHP.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

- Oversee the technical development and continuous improvement of the company's e-commerce platform.
- Design, develop, and maintain an online shopping platform using modern web technologies, especially PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Develop and maintain API interfaces between different systems to ensure smooth and extensible integrations.
- Implement integration solutions between systems using both traditional and low-code options available through Azure.
- Regularly review and analyze the performance of the e-commerce platform and make necessary optimizations.
- Enhance the functionality of the e-commerce platform and refactor legacy code to ensure lifecycle continuity.
- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including those responsible for marketing, sales, logistics, finance, and product selection.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience with PHP, and in developing e-commerce platforms, such as Magento/Adobe Commerce, Shopify, WooCommerce, Prospercart.
- Proven track record in website development, user experience improvement, and technical optimization.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to support decision-making.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and interact with various stakeholders.
- Self-directed attitude and the ability to work independently and inspire others.
- Fluent in Finnish and proficient in English.
- A degree in software development, information technology, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in e-commerce business and relevant technologies such as ERP, CDP, WMS, and CRM.
