The Role The company is expanding its platform team and seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join their data scientists. This role focuses on building data products using a combination of the core data platform, Snowflake, and ML components. These data products are central to the business, powering applications that enhance farmers' operations and support sustainability goals in the dairy and meat industry.

Responsibilities

* Develop data transformations to create data products.
* Integrate data from diverse sources.
* Ensure data quality through automated processes.
* Build and deploy SQL/DBT work packages.
* Collaborate with R&D and application developers to meet their data needs.
* Document and manage data contracts.

Qualifications

* Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience building data products with data platforms.
* Strong SQL skills.
* Proficiency with DBT.
* Engineering mindset with a comprehensive understanding of data systems.
* Competent in Python.
* Experience with Snowflake and ML ops is a plus.
