Role: DevOps/Platform Engineer

Location: Oslo

We are seeking a DevOps engineers to join a centralised platform team in Oslo. While you will primarily work with the The infrastructure you create will support the development of various products as they all sit on the same cloud platform.

You will join an established team of experienced DevOps professionals, currently 5 dedicated DevOps engineers in an I.T. team totaling 60.

Company Tech Stack:

* Azure cloud
* MongoDB, SQL
* Kubernetes, Docker
* Terraform, BASH, Python, C#

Responsibilities:

* Create high-quality, easily integrated solutions to issues experienced mutually by several teams
* Application-orientated DevOps. You will support the application platform teams
* Create secure and auto-scalable CI/CD deployment pipelines
* Cloud services cost optimization. Streamline and optimize usage through the creation of IaC, primarily using Terraform.
* Use New Relic to monitor the operational health of applications and respond to issues
* Secure entry/exit

Desired Experience:

* 3+ years' of experience in a DevOps-focused position, any cloud can be the focus (Azure, GCP or AWS)
* Experience creating Docker images, deploying with Kubernetes
* Knowledge of cloud security concepts
* Knowledge of Docker images and Kubernetes deployments
* Knowledge of microservice architecture
* Knowledge of networking principles, security certificates and API security
* Understanding of IaC principals
* Knowledge of IAM principals

About the Role: They are looking for a DevOps Engineer to take the lead in building and managing a robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Managing, Scaling, and Automating AWS Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee and optimise cloud environments for automation, scalability, and reliability, ensuring efficient cloud operations. Lead the design and implementation of new services and upgrades, selecting the best technologies to enhance performance.
* Optimising CI/CD and Infrastructure: Streamline CI/CD pipelines to improve development cycles and quality, while documenting infrastructure changes and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
* Collaboration and Problem Solving: Partner with development teams to implement cloud solutions that address complex challenges, supporting the platform's evolving needs.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
* Familiarity with multiple tech stacks, including Azure and infrastructure coding

Preferred Skills:

* Relevant AWS certifications
* Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python)
