    Snowflake Data Engineer

    My client is looking for a Data Engineer/Datawarehouse Engineer to help them fully transform their data environment by building out a completely new cloud data platform within Azure. This is an exciting time to join them and lead this project!

    The company's main focus is the automotive aftermarket, where they are the partner and distributor of world-leading manufacturers of car parts and accessories. With over 70 years of experience across multiple markets, they are incredibly stable and have a wealth of data potential at their fingertips. Their goal is to leverage modern principles and tools to become even more data-driven and automated.

    As the Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining data flows while collaborating with the business to understand how their data can create genuine business value-both internally and for their customers.

    Responsibilities:

    *

    Design, build, and deploy: Develop data solutions linked to vehicle and product data across multiple business units, including sales, supply chain, and product management. This involves creating robust and efficient data pipelines, working with ETL processes from various data sources.
    *

    Data modeling: Optimize data structures for effective data management and analysis while monitoring system performance to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
    *

    Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders and other data and technology professionals to support the build of this new data platform.
    *

    Stay updated: Research and apply the latest trends and best practices, initiating conversations and adoption of new technologies across the team.

    Qualifications:

    *

    Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Datawarehouse Developer, BI Developer, or a similar role. While direct experience with data infrastructure and cloud setups is preferred, a strong interest in these areas is essential.

    Proficiency in SQL and ideally Python.
    *

    Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Azure. The tech stack includes Data Factory, Synapse, and Fabric, and you'll have a say in adopting new technologies.
    *

    BSc/MSc in a relevant field.
    *

    Curiosity and passion for data and emerging technologies, with excellent communication skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    *

    Professional fluency in Swedish is required.

    About the Role

    As an Oracle DevOps Engineer, you'll be part of a collaborative team focused on building, supporting, migrating, and automating Oracle environments on Exadata Cloud at Customer (ExaCC). You'll play a key role in engineering solutions to ensure platform compliance with regulatory requirements and oversee Oracle Database migrations to ExaCC.

    A significant part of your responsibilities will include developing infrastructure as code to support CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and Python. Your day-to-day activities will range from engineering database migrations and coding automation scripts to devising innovative solutions for client-specific needs.

    Additionally, you will be involved in configuring monitoring systems, implementing Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA), and providing support during and after migration cutovers. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and the Product Owner is central to this role.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Engineer and build solutions on the ExaCC platform aligned with regulatory requirements.
    * Migrate Oracle databases to ExaCC and optimize processes.
    * Develop infrastructure as code for CI/CD pipelines.

    * Experience with tools and methodologies such as DevOps, Scrum, and Agile.
