Role: Senior Retail Application Engineer
Location: 100% Remote (Anywhere in the US)

Salary: Ideally $150-170k

Role Overview:
As a Senior Retail Application Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and developing key retail applications, leveraging expertise in Universe technology and working with omnichannel POS systems. Your role will involve integrating APIs, managing retail application processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth retail operations and system functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

* Utilize strong experience in Universe technology (a sub-technology of MultiValue) to develop and maintain retail applications.
* Integrate APIs using REST and SOAP to facilitate seamless communication between retail systems.
* Work with Java and C# for application development and enhancements.
* Participate in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and issue resolution for retail applications.
* Collaborate with business and technical teams to enhance retail systems and ensure high availability and reliability.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members as needed.

Key Technical Must-Haves:

* Strong and recent experience with Universe (a sub-technology of MultiValue).
* Experience with API Integration (REST & SOAP).
* General knowledge of Java & C#.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

* Experience with retail and omnichannel POS systems.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience working with retail applications and supporting enterprise-level systems.
* Solid understanding of integration patterns, APIs, and service-oriented architectures.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
